ASIDE Side Table
The minimal design consists of a curved hardwood base wrapping around a small circular top. After prototyping several different weights, the 1 ¼” thickness of the surround was chosen for its delicate balance between clunky and lightweight. The slightly thinner table top creates visual interest as a kind of cantilevered disc.
The Aside table is available in right-handed (as shown) or left-handed configurations in three finishes. With the open side facing a chair or sofa, the side table was designed to give the user a feeling of enclosed personal space. The perfectly rounded back is aesthetically pleasing when viewed from any angle.
Every piece is finished by hand with a natural, food-safe, zero VOC oil finish. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
